This site will remain closed for the season due to maintenance projects. Douglas City, Steel Bridge, and Junction City are other BLM campgrounds nearby that charge a fee and are open from May through November, weather permitting. Camp on the edge of the Trinity River in one of 8 primitive camping sites, suitable for tent camping or small trailers. Popular for fishing and pleasure boating alike, this clear, cold section of the river is world famous for its fly fishing.
