The state park sits within the Sequim rain shadow, has over 4,900 feet (1,500 m) of shoreline and offers picnicking, camping, hiking, boating, swimming, clam digging, crabbing, athletic fields, beachcombing, birdwatching, interpretive activities, and horseshoes.
